Busitema University and Care Uganda have entered into a Partnership to collaborate in advancing Integrated Community Based Agricultural Extension through a ten-year Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The goal of this collaboration is to improve the Farmer Field and Business School (FFBS) initiative by utilizing the assets and capabilities of both parties. A common goal to enhance the skill-based curriculum offered at Busitema University and promote increased agricultural development and community empowerment is emphasized in the MOU
The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Paul Waako, in the company of Top Management, reaffirmed the University's commitment to lead Agricultural education. Care Uganda was led by Mr. Apollo Gabazira, the country director and an alumnus of Busitema College which is the current Busitema University. Busitema University and Care Uganda are prepared to make significant advancements in agricultural extension services through this Partnership. Through the combined efforts and knowledge of the two organizations, the MOU paves the way for various projects that will empower farmers and promote sustainable agricultural growth. This collaboration not only enhances Busitema University's academic Programs but also highlights the University's unwavering efforts in promoting innovation and constructive change in various disciplines that have both economic and social impact in the Country.
